How to find legal advice?

Hi,
I'm trying to find some advice regarding the use of WhatsApp Business in my Business. I can't find information anywhere and even here in the forum nobody seems to be able to help me (How do I find out if my Service based on another product is legal?). What would you do now in my situation?

This is a very interesting idea. Is your service basically an agency for small business owners where you give them whatsapp business capabilities? Or is this an educational info product explaining how to use it? I would love to learn more.

The best way to find good lawyers is to ask someone for a referral.

Another way is to just call 10 lawyers, and interview them. Ask them about their experience in previous cases that are similar. If you call 10 lawyers you can easily find one with the right experience.

As per your other thread, it seems like it would be 'legal' but using their screenshots as part of your product could be seen by Meta as a copyright violation / IP infringement. Is this true or not? Doesn't really matter but if they don't like it they will try to sue either way, and you will spend years and stacks of money proving your point either way.

Legal or not legal is a matter of criminal law, this is a civil matter and would likely have to be litigated to determine the outcome. There are many exceptions to copyright protections, and educational content being one of them. But that doesn't stop them from going after you. Lawsuits are just another risk of doing business, it all depends on your tolerance for risk. If you really have a high risk tolerance than you would just say 'who cares, sue me' like many do.

It's more an educational info product to explain how to use it properly. At least in Germany, many landlords use WhatsApp to communicate with their renters about their holiday apartment, and I think that communication can be massively improved.

You're definitely right with this. If it wasn't for Meta I think I would just do it, but they are really big and that scares me a bit. I think I'm first trying to get a lawyer thinking about this and then thinking about how to go next.
