A while back M. J. DeMarco did a post on the LastPass data breach. I was wondering what is the best system or tool for managing passwords now?

My setup is KeepassXC on PC, KeepassDX on Android and I use syncthing to synchronize the password DB between devices. You can use any kind of sync, for example Google Drive. Just make sure your master password is strong enough. No sharing of credentials with cloud providers, best for your privacy.

+2 on Bitwarden.
I haven't used a password manager in years, despite the fact every single password I use is 20 characters.

That said, +3 on Bitwarden as, if I were to use one, it'd be Bitwarden.

I would argue using any password manager is better than not using one.
Try one free one where you're not relying on their cloud storage, just encrypt yours, or then test a paid one like DashLane or 1Password.

If you own a business and have employees, then consider requiring everyone to use a password manager once you've become acquainted with it.
