Hi all,
As many of you might know, I run my company "PetPapers", which can be found here.
First and foremost, a lot of people (including you guys) told me the idea is brilliant; I've gotten so much great feedback, which resulted in some sales.
My aim for this business was to thoroughly utilise the Act, Assess and Adjust framework, which has been in play for about a year by now.
Recently, I built the whole product from the ground-up, introducing a nice speech-to-text feature that I figured would smoothen a lot of friction for my audience.
However, my ads—like before—are continuing to completely drain my wallet without any ROI or data. Although my ads are being liked and shared, I've only had ONE email sign-up.
This is very unlikely due to my Meta ad setup, as I've had great success before. It may be a budget issue—but financially speaking—I simply don't have enough gas in the tank to keep going.
Moreover, while the concept is universally loved, my (perhaps flawed) opinion tells me this: Whilst adoring the principle, the market may not have a significant NEED for it to justify an exchange of cash.
My fear is walking away from a goldmine, just as my axe is about to strike the motherload. However, I've truly tried everything, from organic marketing; free trial funnels; email marketing; social media; brand partnerships; and warm calling.
Am I missing something, or am I smashing my head against a wall and failing to remain flexible in my fastlane goals?
Regardless, I've learned a shit ton by bootstrapping this business. It's been tough to create such a business; my marketing ability must cater around such a sensitive topic. I'd honestly be excited to start something less depressing, so I can really market it without worrying about this.
In a roundabout way, this brings me back to my initial question: Am I walking away from the gold mine, just short of striking gold or should I move on and maintain flexibility?
I can't afford to keep bleeding money, and organic traffic hasn't worked for me at all.
Thanks in advance,
TWG.
