Hi, I am 15, currently in school. After reading the MFL, I have been really fascinated by entrepreneurship. But the question that daunts me is, what to work on now? I always ignore this question thinking that my future self will come across an idea. I don't mean to ask any business idea/niche or something like that. Just what should I do in my day to day life to someday potentially start a business? Or is there any way I can start something today? I have adopted the 'help someone' mindset, but is that all? should I spend these days devoting to school and improving my skill set in the free time?

PS - If this seems like I am asking the forum to make a life decision for me or to find a business idea for me- NOT AT ALL. Its just, what should I do on a day to day level that would help me in my future as an entrepreneur as currently I have no plan/idea and money/freedom to start a business.

Let's put it this way:

Let's say you will need to start an invention business. Let's say you'll need 3-5k$ for the first prototypes (if you can't test your idea for less than 100-200$). Heck, even 500$. (I am at this exact position right now)

Do you have those money?

Well, if you don't (which you don't), welcome to the "From Flat Broke To Filthy Rich" ladder.

I know because I am at the same exact position. I need money for invention, but I need either to hustle or to fundraise to make it happen,

If I were 15, I would focus on learning a skill. Become an expert in a skill or field. Just know the industry inside out. Eventually you'll find a niche business to start in that industry.

Hi mate, i am nowhere near having a business, nor am i old enough for giving long-term advices but if i was 15 again (18 rn) i strongly suggest the following:

Order your life
This is basic life advice. I dont know you, but if you spend your whole time jacking off, playing video games and being on your phone, laying on your stinky bed, you aint gonna go very far.
develop good habits
quit addictions if you have some
fix your mental health

■ Build discipline
To get anything done in life, you will need discipline. Learn it, master it and you will remove 80% of the problems most encounter om their journey.

■ Get a part-time job
Get a little job during week-ends so you learn the ropes of work and basic "business" stuff.
i personally worked as a backery retailer and manager. I learnt customer service, how a retail business works from the inside, transportation, regulations, etc. You get me.

Follow your curiosity
This one is the most important. Whatever catches your curiosity, follow it. Thats how you find your lifes purpose, youe ikigai, your lifes task. Or what others would call your ideal industry and niche.

All this advice might be too much but we never know what might click with you and change your life haha

Good luck my brother
