What did you do for yourself today? How did you work to escape the rat race? What about your actions was fastlane?

We all know that Paralysis by Analysis is a deadly disease. :smxE: Many of us are guilty of the Ready-Aim-Aim-Aim... Method. :coco: The only way to get going is to GET GOING!

I would like this to become a thread where all of us -- millionaires and otherwise -- can hold each other accountable for our own goals. Do not let a day go by without doing something, ANYTHING, to make your own dreams come true!

I'll start. Today, I restructured my 'blog template and optimized my Adsense placement.

today I contacted to people to ask if they were interesting writing for my mag.

Came up with a stategy to build subscriptions

I sat through a Real Estate seminar. Sure it was a sales pitch, I knew that going in. I did make some useful contacts and learned some valuable tidbits of information. It was not a waste of my time.

Interesting enough, the last pitch was on a mortgage acceleration program. A topic from a few days ago on here. Paying down your mortgage Some fairly reputable local folks swear by the program. I'm researching it some more.

I also sat down with my investment partner and tweaked our plan a bit. Decided on the name of our holding LLC as well. Based off some advice from some other investors we will be leaving RE off the name.

Ruled out a few properties with my buyers agent today and setup a time to look at several tomorrow.


*Interesting looking back at the list. I didn't feel like I did a whole lot today until I typed this in.

Bilgefisher great minds think alike. I too sat through a RE seminar. Will be going back again tomorrow. I am learning more with each meeting and making more contacts. Learning more about foreclosures and pre-foreclosures.:fastlane:

Figured out how to fence my pasture (does that count as fastlane?)
Read the book that came in the mail yesterday (Living with sheep).... I'm pretty sure that doesn't count...

Selling 2% of my debt salvation company. Started yesterday and I am talking with two potential buyers.

I just registered a new domain and its misspellings that redirect. I'll be building a new site today.

Read a lot about SEO, web traffic, parking domains, etc.

Discussed some development ideas with contractor friend as we sunbathed (Super-Low-Impact-Aerobics, YET still fastlane!!:banana

"Smelled roses" - it's been one of those weekends where I sometimes have to remind myself to enjoy what it is that we work so hard for - nice home, great friends:3some:, awesome puppies.

So while not terribly productive, it has been a good axe-sharpening.

Ive been studying helocs all day and trying to work on equations for mortgage acceleration. I need math for my proof. I dunno, I don't see the benefit/risk reward.

Will be looking at houses later today with my buyers agent.

yesterday- made some option plays, worked on website for mag, contacted another auther, contacted printer, created writer submission guidelines, crafted letter to subscribers couple others, cannot remember.

today- another option play, more webwork, wrote on blog, started arduous task of updating my product descriptions

Please. Celebrate free market economies. Create your own monolith. I've always enjoyed your posts, so I can't imagine that we're all that far apart on life philosophy. So this isn't a flame. Just as a fellow "do-er", let me encourage you to just go out and do sometime positive rather than wasting your mental and emotional energy on the negativity.

1. Tweaked ad placement on my 'blog based on Analytics click-patterns.
2. Wrote content for a new vegan website I'll be rolling out any day now.
3. Changed the angry thug CDs in my car's changer to nicer, more positive stuff to help me deal with my commute in a good way.

Spoke with a coml broker about equity/debt partnership on a 30 unit rehab/reposition project. They started out as looking for someone to finance part of the debt, but I am looking more towards being an equity partner.

I think I have developed a pretty good relationship with 2 commercial re brokers and was in contact with both of them today.

Spoke with a developer about the type of projects he is working on and in what capacity he is seeking investors for.

Opened a few June expiration options positions in $RUT. Im still bearish, but realize we could be at a critical level in the market.
