What should I do if Paypal is not a thing in my country?

Because of a stupid political conflic Paypal was forced to shut down in my country a few years ago. How should I get paid by clients in the US? I don’t freelance in my country because of the ridiculously high inflation and don’t want to use platforms like Fiverr as the middle man. But I think I have to do that. DAE have the same problem?

From what I've heard Skrill and Wise should be viable alternatives.

Just invoice your clients the amount (you need a legal entity and an accountant + invoicing software) and have them wire the money through Wise.

PayPal is a joke anyway—they've conned thousands of people over the years, so it'll never be worth using them as a payment processor.
