Yo guys,

Do you guys have any recommendations of books (or anything else) where I can learn more about finances ? Basically I want to get a better understanding of the things MJ talks about a money system.

Just completed mentoring a group of boys scouts on the personal management merit badge. The cool part was how many of the parents began to sit in on the class. Their minds were blown. Here is a link:

Are there specifics of what you're looking for? I'd be happy to throw something together for you if you give some more details as to what you want to understand.

That's nice of you, thank you. I just want to get an in depth understanding of the investment vehicles MJ talks about in the book like ETF's, Mutual Funds, IRAs, Dividend stocks, etc. I understand the basic numbers and the point he's making, by saying that they're better for wealth conservation (10m x 10% interest = 1m a year without touching the 10m vs 20k x 10% interest x 50 years = 2.3m at 70 y.o. But i don't understand how any of those things work, what to look for, how to get started etc.

The resources listed above I believe will get you started (full disclosure, I haven't gone through all of them completely). Khan Academy is definitely a good resource for the basics.

Just a note of clarification for you:
1. ETFs, Mutual Funds, and Stocks are investments.
2. IRAs, 401ks, and brokerage accounts are where you hold the investments.

Thank you! Are there any other interest yielding investments? or just these ?

Well there are: saving accounts, CDs, bonds (corporate and municipal).
This should cover the basics.

Once you get through that, there are more sophisticated investments, that you probably shouldn't be messing around with if you're just starting. Things like options, margin trading, leveraged ETFs, private offerings, etc. But I would start with the basics unless you want to lose all your money right away.
