Nothing major - I've shown you the portrait I got from Eve.
I originally wanted to hire a young Italian woman I found called Denise Ayroldi. She's got some photos here: Portrait | Denise Ayroldi. I found her from looking up "Miss Italia" a few years ago.
I tried to hire her and got no response, so I reached out to Eve instead. I saw Eve had done work for a book called Fall of Gods, here: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/blXqm
I originally asked Eve to make a portrait which was quite scandalous. I didn't have any experience hiring an artist, so I sent whatever I felt was a good brief. I basically said something like "I have unlimited creative license so we can include boobs on the cover if we want", and she actually started doing that.
She started doing the work and came back with something that was nowhere close to what I wanted. I shared it with John and he had to reassure me in a major way that it was the right choice as I was ready to abandon the project.
The core issue was artists need to "block out" their work at the beginning, and that's all I saw. I told her that we didn't actually want boobs (just that we could if it was necessary), and that I wanted something that Caravaggio would do.

I'll get a proper photo done when I get a new suit.
I've been focused on getting the software stuff sorted and desperately want to go out and pitch. However, to pitch the big stuff, you need a lot of backend to the offer, which is coming together now.

If I can get a boxed product out the door, alongside the other stuff I'm doing, that should provide the impetus to start looking for £50k+ projects from large companies. Need to keep taking monumental risks to do that effectively.
Yes, many such cases in the UK. I went with my friend whom I said that we should only go as a pair because that forces you to actually go and talk to people. We ended up finding these girls who were the only English at the resort.
It seemed to be a magnet for Germans and Dutch for some reason.

you do have good tastes, gotta give it to you there. Incidentally, that girl looks like a younger version of a current client of mine LOL, who is also from the UK, and currently in her mid 30s, maybe super early 40s.
