Harv Eker writes in his book “Secrets of the Millionaire Mind†you should make up to 6 bank accounts. While this may help you to learn how to manage money it would be very expensive, at least here in Germany, because most bank accounts cost some kind of money. So I’ve thought of something like a virtual account chart. I created a excel sheet with this in mind and here it is for you!
I just realized that it is essential (especially as a beginner) to learn how to manage money, how to handle money and to get a feeling for the whole stuff! It is very important to get ready for more money. Because if you are not ready for much money you wouldn’t receive it, or loose it at least as fast as you got it.
So what does the chart do?
Basically it divides all your income in 1-6 “virtual bank accountsâ€. You can’t spend more money for one thing (for example investing in stocks) than you have on the specific account.
You can rename the accounts as you wish and alter the percentage for each! The “play and fun†account should not be removed! Read the description! Hover over the cell with your mouse cursor to see the comment! you should make a new sheet for every new year...
How to use the Chart:
1. Read all Comments! There are 8 commented cells in this chart. You can identify a commented cell with the little red flag in the upper right corner of the cell.
2. Fill in your average monthly income!
3. Enter your income and expenses daily!
4. On table 2 you see a chart of your income and your expenses. If you do it right all lines should go from the bottom left to the top right on average :coolgleamA:
