Did you all like the venue and location last time, or would you like to try a new place? I am asking here before setting the meetup.com group in motion. Looks like it has doubled in size so far.

I will be out of town on the 11th for work unfortunately. I can make it on the 12th though.

Didnt even think about that, good suggestion. I think a lounge would be better but im not really sure i know any outside of hotels.

I'll be living in a suburb in Maryland, right near the metro.

I managed one of the biggest Reggae production houses right now, used to own a bar, was pretty involved in Jamaican politics.

Starting a sales and distribution company - hitting the ground running, Thursday morning.

Yeah I was paying for meetup.com before and there wasn't a strong benefit over just texting everyone.

Sounds good. I'm going to be busy until just after the beginning of September (taking a trip to visit family and friends back up north) but once I get back I'll start looking for a good spot.
