Hey guys,

Read the book two years ago. Love it, live by it, recommend it always. Taking a bootcamp to be a web dev as fast as possible. Started a blog and I want to post the content I have on the blog on this site, but I don't want to break any rules or commit faux pas, but I want to backlink/get traffic and all that good stuff. Plus I have legit content, people will enjoy reading it; regarding entrepreneurship/philosophy and web dev for starting a fastlane business. There doesn't seem to be a blogging function on this site, so I'm not sure how to proceed.

Hopefully I don't make anyone mad with this post either ^.^

Hey, welcome!

Do you want to learn web development to become a freelance web developer or actually build a site/business for yourself with the skills?

What's your blog called?

I'm learning web dev specifically for creating businesses. I have TONS of ideas but NO technical skill to execute them. Plus, I'm very young, so getting a leverage-able skill for employment sure beats all the garbage options I've had thus far. I'm open to freelancing, but I'm currently aiming for a full time job. I see it as I have spent most of my life paying for education, while a job specifically in this industry is the vice versa--paid to learn. My blog is primarily a way to boost my employability, its been highly suggested at this bootcamp I'm at as a way to show something to employers. Also, I love writing and I'm confident at it--plus I've been lurking on this forum for a while but never contributed (I don't feel like I had anything yet). And its fun to see numbers grow in Google Analytics. 11 visitors in two days! Woohoo! This feels like a great way to bring these two worlds together.

Job talk aside, I have specific plans to implement a alpha stage tech business within two months, with some of my classmates here who are all entrepreneurship minded. This will be our final project, yet the start of our journey. Of course, I'll be sharing my progress with fellow fastlaners.

My blog (which is SUPER NEW): iliareingold.com/blog

Nice, setting a deadline is a great thing. Creates some pressure for yourself so you don't slack off ;)

Hello from the other side of canada! I live in British Columbia.

My uncle lives in Ottawa and sold his software company a few years back. He has really inspired me. I'm currently 20 and looking for motivated people to network with and get to know.

Feel free to email me at: steve.corcoran0@gmail.com or skype: cstevec24

Best regards,
