With my first website up and running, I will have a little bit of marketing to do over the coming months but nothing to time consuming, the website is small, it isn't scalable. I'm sure it will bring in something but it will never be a serious amount of income, I knew that when I started but I needed some experience with web design before I tried something a little bigger.
So now, summer break is a week away, and I will NOT waste an opportunity like this, my time will be freed up by 35+ hours a week, its time to aim high and take a leap! From all of my ideas I have had, there are really 4 or 5 that sound like they could have some serious potential, my only problem is that with my lack of business experience and knowledge of the marketplace, some of the ideas that sound great to me might just not be feasible in reality.
I really need some guidance on to which idea holds the most potential before I invest in one of them because capital is relatively limited and I would prefer not to blow 2k on a project that has no wings. My holy grail and greatest asset at this point would be a FLF member who lives in Colorado that has experience in preferably web/tech businesses (but really any business experience would be awesome) that would be willing to meet up for lunch and let me pitch my couple of ideas to see what they think. If you guys know anyone on here who lives in CO and could possibly be interested in helping me get my feet off the ground I would really appreciate it. My second option is to PM one of the higher ups on here or possibly Skype them and pitch my ideas as well, again, if anyone is interested please let me know. I am not looking for a step-by-step guide and don't need my hand to be held in any way, I just need some insight from someone with some more knowledge than me.
My ultimate goal would be that by this time next year, I'm talking about business management and favorite vacation spots with a real fastlane business in the works. It sounds like a daunting task, but many others have done it before and I have the intuition, capacity, vision, dedication, and drive to do this thing! I really hope I find some help from you guys!
