I've known past editors (Steve Castle, Brent Butterworth) and my work was featured seven times in the 1990s (once in their "Ultimate Gift Guide").
Also knew the owner/publisher (Bill Curtis), but not at the same level that I did the editors (who became personal friends).
Most buyers of the magazine are NOT mega-rich. But they wanna be.
Main focus has always been: Lifestyle publication, for the mega-rich.
Subject matter: Toys of the mega-rich.
I picked up a copy in our hotel room in Vegas 3 days ago. Very impresssive-- TONS of ads more than before. They've become the "In Style" of high-end lifestyle magazines.
