Hello all,
I am 23 year old male college student who is graduating from ASU in Econ after this summer and currently living in Scottsdale, AZ. I was raised in a very traditional middle class household where I was taught a college education is equivalent to a high school degree - that I'm not getting anywhere without it. Education however was never my highest of priorities and I have always been interested in entrepreneurship. Since the age of 13 I have been earning extra on little moneymaking schemes. Back when paintball was still big around 2006-2010 I was online constantly buying and reselling paintball equipment and probably made myself a few thousand in the process while doing it primarily just to have fun. This led to more intentional Craigslist flipping which I have successfully done here and there making anywhere from $500-$1000 a month.
After a long journey leading to where I am now, wrapping up my degree, I was introduced The Fastlane Millionaire by my current girlfriends dad. Hes an entrepreneur himself who owns a fairly successful financial planning firm and after being told to read this book, I dove in. I finished the book and immediately the itch that had always been there was re-ignited especially with my school career end in sight.
I have been reading on here and various other websites for the past month or two and decided not to post until I actually had something to post about, so here I am! While it might not be actually "Fastlane" I have taken on the task of trying to expand my mom's current business to the online world and also develop some B2B sales rather than her standard warm lead B2C sales. This will be a solid starting base for me to learn a lot of valuable skills such as website building, copy, SEO, and cold sales. Hopefully after making a few sales here I will be able to dive a little deeper into the eCommerce world and see where that takes me.
I'd like to use this thread to help track my progress and development with the current web store I am running and to hopefully get some insight from you all. I set an initial goal for myself to sell 20 of the product packages that I am selling by June 1st.
So far I have:
Created my first ecomm website
created coldcall/tracking list in excel spreadsheet
typed up cold email and cold call scripts
sent out the first test batch of cold emails
