A problem I have is that I spend a lot of time creating things that nobody wants, or that don't make much money when they are copleted. This results in a lack of motivation, as I have become pessimistic about the financial success of any venture I put my time into. Although there is always an element of risk, I want to set myself up for the greatest chance of success.
With that said, could anybody tell me if the software I am currently working on has potential, or if I should ditch it and do something else? Chat bots and AI are popular today, and these ar topics I am familiar with form my experience in the video game industry -I just don't know what I should build or how to sell it.
Anyway, here is my current project. It's an application that tracks the progess students of English as a second or foreign language, and also provides teachers with a system to manage their students. It currently consists of two databases, one SQL, on No SQL, an Angular front end for students to log in and see their progress, and Winforms Front end for managing students, taking notes during their sessions, and entering feedback data. I currenly just use it for myself to manage my low-paid online teaching job.

Does this app have commercial potential, or should I ditch it and make something else? If so, what?
