Hi im new to this whole start a website thing but im learning fast and i would like a few questions answered. thanks in advance

1. how good is hostgator? im thinking about using them since you can have unlimited sites and unlimited bandwith.

2.where should i buy my domain name from? i heard i should not buy my domain name from the same people i host from.

3. where do i get somebody to build the site for me? i know what i kinda want.(a message board, a profile the user can make, videos the user can put like youtube and a few more things)
