Hi all,
This is my first post on the forum, so first of all nice to meet you all!
I am an entrepreneur from Barcelona. My background is on engineering but, after some years of frustration I decided to start my own business (while working).
I am currently working on a project of a supplement brand for a specific niche.
I’ve done a fake door test consisting of:
Creating a product page pretending to have the product.
Driving traffic via Meta ads.
Getting people to click on “add to cart” then “go to checkout”.
When a customer clicks on go to checkout he goes to a landing page explaining that the product is not abailable and he can leave his mail to be first in line when the product is ready.
I spent 48€ on ads and got 40 people on the landing page, collecting 10 emails.
I consider this as a successful result of the test but I would also like to know your opinion.
The product price is 25€ and COGS around 10€.
