Hi fastlaners!

I discovered The Fastlane Millionaire by listening a podcast about good finance books. I choose it the first above the others and ... What a book! I have just finished it 10 minutes ago.

I am 25 years old, and I have only 2 years of experience. I started as the most people as a sidewalker with my first two paychecks from my 9 to 6 job , but I realized by myself that was not the clever choice.

Hopefully, I started studying personal finance by myself and then I became the perfect slowlaner. I can save 30% of my paycheck easy without struggling, no debts, no credit cards, only cash ... You guys know how it works :)

And now I am here. I think that I am in a very good position to start switching my road. I am going to get on board here and keep going with the next steps.

By now, my main desire and passion is moving to the States, getting a motorbike license, and buying a brand new MV Agusta like this one!

Welcome, Sergio!

It’s good to see another 25 year old engineer/entrepreneur here. It seems like a lot of the forum users started as Slowlane engineers, so you are in good company.

Your English seems pretty good. Definitely good enough to be active and contribute on the forum.

Welcome to the forum. Wish you the best on your adventures. Nice bike. I have a fascination for them myself. I'm not sure you'd want to ride the Isle of man. But always interesting watching the race.

GOSH! I did know nothing about that urban race, those men are really bold! Can you imagine being in one of those sidecars? Just a few inches above the asphalt

You should watch some of the other video's, it's quite the trip in some of the scenes. I'm not sure I'd even stand on to close observing.

Welcome to the forum! :) Your English is very good!

Good question!

At this moment I have a job as a consultant at a software company called Guidewire Software, Inc that develops licensed software products for P&C insurance companies.

This company opened a brand new service office in Madrid. I am one of the employees who was hired before the office open in order to work in there.

During the selection process, they told me they want me in the "growing process" of the office, but once the office is settled down, if I still desire to move out to another project in another office around the world they are going to reallocate me as soon as possible. This could take maybe a year.

I am conscious (overall after reading TMF ) that my current best shot is based "on hope" but, at the end, whatever is the choice, the US government has the power to let or deny me live in there so I am never going to have the entire control on this.

I was born in an allied country like Spain, I am a specialist that is not easy to find inside the country. As a part of US company, I have experience both working and engaging with US people which that means I am probably familiarized with US culture

That's my roadmap! I am going to track the Fastlane whether if I move to US or I still live in Spain but I'm convinced that moving there would increase my chances to get rid of being a Slowlaner because Spain is definitely not the best country for making money ...

What about your goals? I look forward knowing you about your next business venture! I am sure is going to be even more profitable than the previous one !

The most important thing is that you're aware that your option to relocate is based on "hope", but with it, and because of it, I'm sure you'll do anything to make that happen!

I totally understand you about your country. I'm living in a shithole city in Israel and to succeed financially here is really a challenge. I'm also thinking about moving to the US also but for now, I don't have any option to do so.

My main goal is to achieve financial freedom and I believe it can be done in about 3 years or less.

I'm still working on my next business venture, I have A LOT to study and to really adjust and improve my mindset and my habits.

I'll open a post soon that will describe everything :)

Wow, I am really curious. What city is that? I might have a biased vision of your country. Is not Tel Aviv one a startups' city?

I live in Eilat :) it's the most southern city of Israel. It's a six hours drive from Tel-Aviv(which is a big one startup city)...And the cost of living there is over the roof.
In Eilat, we don't have a much of entrepreneurial opportunities (and if there are, they're mostly for tourism purposes [ which is not really my field] ).
