Soon to be 25....

I am a soon to be 25 year old with no resources and nearly no willpower.

With that being said, i do have some knowledge in Graphics Design/ Motion Graphics, my body is at its peak Fitness and health (except a bit of balding) , and i live in a free and capitalist/socialist utopia compared to most of the world.

My sleep schedule is also good with me going to be around 21:00 Each day and waking up around 5 but not having enough willpower to get out of bed so i get up at 7....

My big problem right now is that i don't have a steady source of income and i wasted most on my time one internet each day.

Welp as of today evening i Deleted my Games and Blocked YouTube / Twitter on both Firefox and Chrome
I know willpower is for losers and do get something done u gotta build a system and don't focus an goals....

Its a small step but joining today the FF was a good thing
My next goal should be a good morning routine and better use of my time.

I would also recommend getting a job, that way not only do you have some structure in you day but you also can get that steady source of income that you need. It would also have you spend less time on the internet.

I am applying for some Designer Jobs right now and if that doesn't work i might have to find a job in the local grocery or supermarket.

Edit: Not just people with businesses but also web developers are often in need of designers for their work. Fiverr and Upwork may be worth looking into aswell.

Negative self-talk indicates a low self-esteem. Thoughts of weakness / excuses, which turn into words and then reflect in your actions / behaviour. Say/think positive things about yourself instead.

Great to hear you sleep well. Lack of 'willpower' in morning may be due to diet, over-reliance on caffeine/nicotine/medication, breathing issues, or some undiagnosed condition. Lacking morning 'willpower' may simply be your brain lacking in something important for its function -- Not being alert quickly enough upon waking.

Do you need income right now? How long can you survive without steady income?

Wasting time may indicate that you are too comfortable, or seeking to escape a soon-to-be desperate situation.

Do you know that or do you vaguely believe it in the back of your mind? Do you say that to fit in? If you don't live by what you hold to be true, you are either lying to yourself or have not identified the truth.

It's a good idea to be curious and investigate any possibility / idea you get, if only so you can cross it off the list and move on. If not, you may have this idea in your mind that 'Maybe I should be a freelancer', and instead of acting on it, or discarding the idea, you live in a state of limbo -- for years!

I don't think he intended to sound negative there. He was being frank about the situation.

I don't really care about intention, more to read between the lines to understand his process of thinking. Of course, I'm just guessing, but maybe it's something non-obvious we can reflect on. Culturally, people from Germany are more frank/direct in their communication. True.
