Some Jobs (dirty word here sometimes) are actually pretty sweet.

Have met a few oil/commodity traders from Houston, mostly young so they aren't killing it yet, but I've been taken aback at the ceiling on this sort of thing. It's absolutely bonkers what some of the senior commodity traders can make. Here's a good article:

Imagine you get into this sort of career, learn on the job, and then take what you learn into your personal investing / retirement later on, OR leverage into entrepreneurship or your own fund/firm with the contacts and connections you make.

So maybe the key to being a billionaire with a commodity-trading hedge fund is to get a job as some kind of analyst first... with a boring degree... there are lots of paths out there.
