So there was a discussion going on about pay. It was about machines taking over/self check out/ etc.... People were on there whining and bitching..... I can't survive on $8, they need to pay $15 an hour minimum.... blah/blah/blah.... So I said...I couldn't go to work for $8 or $15 an hour, what these people needed to do was to start their own business blah/blah/blah. I said, I couldn't go to a job unless I was making $100 an hour or more (I couldn't even go for $100 an hour, who am I fooling?).

So here is what someone told me...... dont forget with the higher wage you have, the more federal & state take out of your beefy pay check . Remember they want a peice of it. ;)

Yep, they are 100% correct, I better go to work at Burger King making $8 an hour so the government won't be getting over on me! This is why some people will always be making my original chicken sandwich at Burger King. They trying to keep Uncle Sam down!

The 1st lady I tried selling my original cleaning business too thought exactly this same way. She went back to telemarketing so she could make a steady income and not be wondering how much she was going to be making every month. After investing, putting money back in to the business and everything else, I paid myself a HEALTHY chunk each month but she couldn't put her head around that..... her steady income as a telemarketer..... $12.87 an hour!:inpain: I really was floored and actually couldn't believe it when she told me.

Pretty saddening to live your life every day, trying to escape the government.
(even thought you didn't commit a crime)

They all ask for a job.
No one asks how to run a business.

It's all mindset and what they've been told. The script.

Don’t you know? You actually make LESS money the higher your tax bracket!

Better watch out for those raises!
