I was having a conversation with my brother the other day about how people are careless spenders. I told him that most people are not homeless due to drug addition but due to addiction to materialistic stuff. I went on stating that you can give an employee a 10% raise but their mindset is set to "now that I got a raise, I can afford that new car/house/toy..ect". With this mindset they will continue to strike about poor wages/living conditions. It's a never ending cycle.
