When they say ‘Get a Youtube channel for your business’ it’s not for the thing itself that you are doing it.
It’s all about adding value.
You should 100% get a Youtube channel if that is a method that you can best add value to your customers. You should 100% not get a Youtube channel if you are doing it because someone said it was a good way to make money... And all things in between along that spectrum.
It will, if done right, make you money. For that to happen however, you have to be doing it for the right reason.
That reason again: because a Youtube channel is a method through which you can add value to your customers.
Customers is also a tricky word. What we should be thinking about more is people. How you can add value to other people, some of which are your customers.
