Overall, I agree with his comments. But his comment that if someone else is paying for it, go for it, gives me concern. That just seems like a reckless waste of other people's money and puts you in debt to them. It's great if the stars align and your parents can pay for the education you want. But to just go to college because your parents are paying for it? Again, just seems wasteful to me.

Compare that to the young person who earns scholarships and works a job to help cover the cost of their education. Even if they can't cover all the costs, they have skin in the game.
