Ok, so for those who don't know about it, you can check out more details here:

When I found about it my reactions, chronologically, were:

1. Wow, this is gonna give me a competitive edge, I'll tune up my websites to the max!

2. Hey, if I make all this info so convenient for them to show, then they can show it in
search results and the users doesn't even need to visit my website ever.

3. But then again, if I don't follow, it may leave me behind in SEO game, as optimized results
may be favored...

So what do you think, what do you make of it, any experiences?

Looks pretty interesting. I just bookmarked it so I can read it later and I'll let you know what I think. Seems beneficial though.

It wont necessarily have SEO benefits in terms of rank, but it will matter in terms of CTR on a search results page. If you can incorporate it into your site, you should. Most modern CMS's it is fairly easy to work in.

Google 'web 2.0 backlinks' .... you see the result for web2.0backlinks.com that has review stars and ratings on it. He used rich markup and it greatly improves his CTR on that SERP. Well.... well worth the time.
