Howdy friends-

To anyone who has sold an online products business or has plans to, what is the multiple these companies are being sold at and what criteria are business buyers looking for?

For example, how much revenue, how many products, how many “followers” etc are required for a worthwhile pay out.

I heard on a related podcast that one particular single employee product business owner wasn’t taking any profit out of the business until he reached about 60,000 in monthly sales.

I’m not in that world for the recurring monthly income as much as i would be hoping for a large sell out when revenue tops a million/annually.

Say you had a brand with 8 products selling 5-8 units/day with a profit margin of $10 unit. Is this a reasonable goal or far off from what others are doing?

Any comments? Thanks!
