Everyone is pissed at the NFL for their handling of Rice. Calling for the firing of the commissioner, dogging the Ravens organization, etc... This is national news and it's all centered around the NFL. The police / prosecutor had all the evidence / footage. He received probation - that's it. The NFL has done way more damage to Rice than the courts (yes - it was done too late but even a 2 game suspension hurts him more then what the court did).
If y'all have read my prior posts, I rarely, if ever, get engaged in these type of topics but.. I just don't understand it. To me, the NFL is secondary on this (Im not defending them) but why isn't anyone questioning the courts? I just don't get it. They gave him a slap on the wrist but the whole focus of the masses / media is the NFL. If this is such a big deal, why aren't they hollering from the rooftops about the sentence that was issued.
I'm sure this has the potential to get political. Please don't go down that road. Just curious about thoughts on why you think the focus is on the NFL and not justice.
