Last year, I started private tutoring from home to home because my family in despair need of money after i graduate. The purpose is to cover home rent and insurance. I think it was around 1500k/mo. I work from night to night, i and it cover up soon. I work like that until i got a job as a cashier. Then continue tutoring along the job. I quit because the school holiday month and the students home are far away after we moved.
Last week, i create a post open for tutoring and spam it on fb groups. On my post i write "only cover (my city address)". Next day i got 1 student, in 3 days i got 1 more student. Last week i have 3 meetings, +150k. The reason i start again because i want to focus on saving and move out of my city.
Now math:
My salary is only 1600k/mo, for my family (rent insurance) 1200-1300k, internet 50k, spare 250-300k for saving.
If i will move,
My family rent 1300k*2 months=2600k
My new rent 1000k
Cheapest Bus/train ticket 300k
Internet 50k
Without food min 3950-4000k
Food and emergency include 5000k
To achieve 5000k
With 50k/tutoring meeting,
I'll need 100 meetinga
If 1 student have average 2 meeting a week, I need 50 students
But with my current job, i could only max 5-6 meetings / week. 250k-300k/week. Full.
If 5000k/250k = 20 week
1 month = 4 weeks
I'll need 5 months. In june move out.
Consider june is school holiday, and march is fasting month. Worst case, in august/sep.
That a long time. And i need to jungle between work, getting students, teaching, and maintain attendence.
What other option i'm thinking:
Something like tutoring agency
So i hire only this 1 part time teacher in Z area. They could Cover until 10 meetings/week. And my profit will be like 10-25k/meetings. 100k-250k/week. My focus is to get lead until 10 meetings full. Repeat for 2-5 teachers for different area.
Worst case for 1 teacher
10k profit/meeting * 10meet/week =100k/week or 400k/mo
My target 5 teachers to keep management minimum. 2000k/mo

5000k/2000k = 2.5mo
Well, thats my math. This month ill try second option along work like no1.
To do asap:
- create a soc med, create contents for the soc med (10 post is ok)
- find 1 tutor, training, contract
- get that tutor leads until 10 meetings/week
