What do you do when you've been trying to master something for several years yet you're still struggling and you think that maybe you're just not made for this and won't ever master it? Is there such a thing as simply lack of talent or ability to learn something? And I'm not referring to things like becoming an NBA player but more everyday skills.
I get you - I have this same feeling with a few things.
I think first step is some form of tracking or outside reference point. Your mind can easily trick you into thinking your not making progress when you are. So something to compare the months and the years.
Second for me would be breaking down a single step of the process and seeing if I can master just that. If I can - then I am probably jus not being consistent or deliberate enough with mastering the whole process.
Third step is better input. So better advice, or a better book/course, real life examples to model, a coach etc.
Forth step (if I can't make any progress) is maybe this isn't for me. For example, I just can't learn to sign in key haha.
