Yeh, well maybe as your really old. I'm just stating my experience at 33 years of age. Those things make a *huge* difference particularly as you get older. Try hanging out with more people your age that don't train regularly. There's already a pretty big gap there. Fast forward another 20 years and the gap is 100x bigger for just doing some of the training you're doing now. It's always worthwhile.
I can see it now, friends my age that haven't ever been active look way older than me, so I know my active lifestyle has already paid off for me.
I'm just saying that you aren't the same after 30 in regards to fitness and general health.
The saying "it's all downhill from here" is referencing this fact.
It's obvious, and saying otherwise is BS. It's not a coincidence that most professional sports players retire around this age, as you can't perform at the same level.
People comment on how in shape I am etc, and say I must feel great!
The truth is i dont feel great most of the time, i feel aged, and my body reminds me constantly. Being able to do what I did in my 20s now is a hard battle. Staying healthy is now more difficult. In my 20s it was easy, I felt bulletproof.
You can't expect to be as fit or healthy after that compared to your 20s unless, as I said, you've done F*ck all in your 20s.
