I said "retail order" but I meant wholesale order. I finally have a big box store.

Congrats! Very exciting times. Did you update or make mention of this on your INSIDERS thread? If so, I think I missed it.

As businesspeople, we come together to find solutions to problems. Not to admire problems that have already been solved for us.

I'm reading this book again and really going through it with a fine tooth comb. This line stood out to me big time!

How to overcome “I’ll do it tomorrow” thinking so that I can seize opportunities? It’s like an opportunity comes and I’m not doing enough and then the opportunity is gone

Focus on small wins and compounding; don’t try to do too much in one day. Just my two cents

How many of these 15 points do you fulfil? I hit almost all 15 points :somber: The full list is in the description of the YouTube video, there's no need to watch the video.

There's a lot of money in making people feel inadequate and selling them a solution to said inadequacy.

Keep this in mind with people who are always talking shit on the internet.

I couldn't imagine finding a note from my parents after they passed (they are still alive).

A good chunk of my family is bee keepers, and I even spent many a summer as a child helping out in the honey house for some extra cash! I love bees!!

I have a daughter and a son. They have pink things, and blue things. Yet for some reason every morning they fight over the same spoons. Agggghhhhhhh!!! I even went and bought a whole pack of identical clear spoon, and they still fight over them.

My dad died the day before my 20th birthday. He was in the hospital and a coma for like two weeks prior so I didn’t even think to look, but last year, 12 years later, my wife found a birthday card to me, sealed in an envelope. It was from him.

It was awesome. Amazing how long it takes sometimes to go through old boxes. I’m super thankful I found it. He and I were very close. He was a great dad.

Agreed. It's become a seemingly intelligent excuse among many, and among others, for people to justify their inaction and lack of success.

The internet is the world's library and it's at your fingertips.

All for the taking. Wisdom. Skills. Specialized knowledge.

There are simply few excuses for those with a decent connection, and a computer. Which means 99% of Americans bitching about the 1% have no excuse. Instead, they're on TikTok watching 40,302 versions of the month's latest dance moves performed in a public square.

I don't drink alcohol but it's inspiring to see a guy who's so successful he doesn't need to work ever again talk with so much passion about this business he started with his friend (and fellow actor who doesn't need to work ever again, either).

Love his comment on taking the ease of life for granted and their contribution to the town from which they source their mezcal.

Jesus Christ, if you listen to every self-development podcaster on Spotify, they resolutely declare that they are following their passion, and that the secret to success is that you should do the same... but only if you sign up for their 6-figure training which tells you how to follow your passion just like them, teaching others how to follow their passion.

It's like a big motivational Ponzi scheme where everyone is selling the same circular bullshit... you can follow your passion by teaching others how to follow their passion. It's like the Greater Fool Theory and Ponzi had a love child.

So quiet quitting is just not trying to play the corporate game anymore?

Nothing wrong with that, what matters is what you do next. Most people I'm assuming are just going to add more unfulfilling things and become even more mediocre.

But in the video "You're worth is not defined by your productive output". Tells me exactly where this is going.

It's just more of the same bullshit.

The message is basically just to be lazy and not do anything? Where does it go? Sounds like it goes nowhere, rather than somewhere good, exciting, or productive.

Very different from Fastlane!

Maybe this already exists but a cool business idea would be to have a space with a bunch of mini kitchens you can rent for a few hours. Like invite some people to meet up for a meal or have a date where you cook together.

The place could even sell some wine or desserts etc.

- Way more social
- Meet other people
- Easier on everyone (its not someones house)
- No need to clean up your whole place to have people over for food

Is this already a thing? I have never seen it in real life if so.

Did anyone else on here have a "RIP Randy Rhoads" T-Shirt at age 13, decades after Rhoads' death was even slightly relevant?

Travis Kalanick´s start-up Ghost Kitchen was announced a few years back.
Basically what you detailled.
Haven´t read about any progress.

That saying that goes something like

¨it takes seven to eight interactions to get someone to become familiar with you/your product¨

Valid? or an over/under exagerration?
