I don't want to come off as a whiny bitch but I am gonna sound like one here in this post. Try to make it a one time thing.
I've done all sorts of things in life. My 20s were a time I spent exploring the world and testing myself to see what I could really accomplish. It was alot of fun but the main thing I got from it all is that I can accomplish anything I put my mind to. I've done all those things that others say they want to do, hike the Appalachian trail, climb Denali, bicycle across Europe just to name a few.
In all that I never expected anything from other people. But what you regularly got was hey thats cool and just positive vibes from others.
Now I am on my next journey. Create wealth and build a rich rewarding life for me and my family. Unfortunately you don't get the same reactions I find. So I pretty much keep it to myself. Instead of hey thats cool I get my morals judged, I get jealous and greedy relatives. Generally I get an attitude from anyone who finds out I suddenly have a few dollars in my pocket.
So in the last 6 weeks things have really started getting together. I mean I only really started in August. But I can say since that short time I am making about 4k a week now. Not bad but still just a start.
So Thanksgiving came and I hadn't had my family over since I moved and I have a really nice place. I kinda wanted to show it to my family. I went all out. Got some new flatware, hired a chef for the day and got some new china. This is the kinda stuff I want to do for my family. I show them my place and show my family my art collection. You know in some ways you kinda want your family to be proud of your accomplishments.
I come to find out my mom is not amused and angry that I am wasteful with my money. She makes pretty decent money and my brothers and sister all kinda mooch off her. So while she may bring home decent money by the time they are done she is broke. I've told her for years to stop but she won't. But suddenly I am a bad guy because I want to enjoy life and enjoy the fruits of my labor.
Anyways thats my one bitch post and don't plan to make anymore. :smx8:
