Just finished up running our nonprofit program last week. This was our third year active, and it went amazing!
Our fundraising efforts are finally starting to take off as well.
We got connected to a couple Korean churches and gave presentations to their youth programs.
Afterwards, we had lots of people interested in getting involved.
This is definitely where the people are who believe in our mission, so almost all of our future focus will be on connecting with more churches.
Planning to head back to Korea in February again too.
We have plans to incorporate a 2nd orphanage into our program, so we'll be meeting with the orphanage director.
Really excited about that too.
Now that the program is finished, I have a bit more time to spend on the business stuff.
Also wrapping up a big house project soon, so I'll have even more time after that.
I haven't been totally inactive though!

RV Product
Spent some time researching the specific product space more, and there is definitely a need for my product.
I need to know if and how much people will spend on my product that solves their need, so that's the next goal.
I started a conceptual design and am figuring out how to build a low-cost prototype/proof of concept.
Also need to spend some time doing a patent search to make sure my design doesn't infringe on anything.
Once those two things are done, I'll put together a landing page and try to get some preorders.

Still mostly doing recipe tests and trying to get a good, finished product.
Made a lot of process since the first try, and I think I'm getting close.
Once the initial recipe is done, I can essentially apply it to two other flavors (goal is to have 3 flavors to start off with).
When the 3 flavors are ready, I'll do some basic branding/packaging and try to sell locally.
There are the obvious regulatory steps mixed in here as well.

I've been having some thoughts about working on a business in the world of mechanical automation (this is what I do as part of my day job). This is a big area of growth, especially with AI, so it's tempting.
It seems like both my product businesses will be harder to get off the ground and make profitable but would be less challenging to scale long term. For this reason (and the fact that they are more exiting to me), I'm going to keep focusing on these.
