I saw this on Facebook, and it just made me explode. So I wrote a rant to try to get some people's optimism up, try to motivate SOMEBODY, even if it was only one.

It's sort of over the top for my taste, but here is what I wrote

Holy shit, my most meaningful rant ever. Worth the read.

This world is becoming so riddled with mediocrity.

If you have money - you got it illegally, you're in the mob, it was a lawsuit, he cheated his taxes, it was an inheritance.

If you're in great shape - He's taking steroids, she's naturally like that, she's anorexic, he's in good shape but a douche!

If you're successful - He's lucky! Mommy and Daddy paid for college (Never go this one, as much as I hate the college scene, so what if your parents want a good life for you?), She just got lucky!

I'm sounding like a TOTAL hypocrite by saying this, but my point is. You're so F*cking consumed with others live and so busy shaming others, that you forget about your own life.

People really have NO idea as to how much potential you have. TRY SOMETHING. You're going to SUCK at first, but eventually, with enough time and persistence you'll get "Sort of" good at it, and build from there.

I don't know what it is in this world that people just want hate on others success.

See a guy who's 25 driving a Lamborghini down the street? What is your response. Let me guess "MOMMY AND DADDY BOUGHT IT!" "TRUST FUND BABY!". No, how about use some optimism and think "Hey... if he could afford it at 25.... then it's possible. If he could afford it at 25, with enough hard work.... so could I!".

You can do whatever the hell you want in life, whether it be - becoming rich, achieving your dream career, just being happy.

I'll leave you with this.

PEOPLE are VERY capable of doing what they want, we're all really pretty talented, and if you work hard, you're half way there. The thing you need to watch out for is these COMPLETE.MORONS. who have never done a risky thing in their life, never received an ounce of criticism because they've never tried anything outside of what's "COOL"...... don't listen to them, because as they say - dead fish go with the flow.
