First, thanks to Likwid for starting an awesome thread on the paleo diet. I thought it would be cool if you guys could post your recipes so everyone of the forum could benefit from it.

My Favorite Recipe (Great post workout or anytime):

SWEET POTATO CHILI

2 lbs of chop meat (You can use anything - Turkey, beef, lamb, etc. I like to mix it up)
2 sweet potatoes cut into cubes
1/4 cup coconut oil
1 cup mixed bell peppers (Red, Green, Orange, Yellow)
1 cup Kale coarsely chopped
1 cup spinach
5 cloves garlic
1/2 can coconut milk (You can use tomato sauce too if you wish)
4 tbsp Chili Powder (You my have to use more. Don't be shy)
2 tbsp Garlic powder
2 tbsp Onion powder
2 tsp Sea salt
1 tbsp Cayenne Pepper
2 tbsp Paprika
2 tbsp Cumin

Saute all veggies and garlic in coconut oil. After a few minutes, add sweet potatoes. Saute for another 5 minutes. Add ground meat. Add spices. Cook until meat is mostly browned. Add coconut milk, and cook on low heat until sweet potatoes are soft. Approx 30 minutes. You can add more or less coconut milk, or sauce, depending on your taste. I also cook everything on low temperature. Sometime it tastes even better the next day.

If you allow yourself fruit, banana pancakes are delicious and simple. Two ingredients: 2eggs, 1 banana. Whip them up in a bowl and then cook it just like you would cook normal pancake mix.
