Hey all,

I've been racking my brain exploring different business ventures lately. While I've got a couple of other ideas in the pipeline, this one keeps coming back to me - looking to either write it off or dive deeper.

I'm a PM in civil construction and my brother's a licensed plumber currently running a small operation. We're looking at joining forces - combining his technical skills with my project management experience to scale the business.

I'd keep my PM role initially and help with:
- Business development & marketing
- Systems implementation
- Client relationship management
- Growth strategy
- Commercial opportunities

He'd focus on field operations and technical delivery. We've also got solid industry contacts through our dad (ex-plumber) that we could leverage.

Would love to hear your thoughts:
1. Does this partnership combo make sense? Good/bad idea?
2. Experience in family business partnerships?
3. General thoughts / concerns?
