These are questions of mine that I have always wondered and never got an answer. How are shopping malls or centers started?
Are they started by one person? Or are they started by the town/state?
Is it possible to own on? For instance, near me in Connecticut is the Buckland Hills Mall and Evergreen Walk shopping center. Is it possible to but one of those?

Just something I always wondered about. Thanks
