I'm a software developer with 12+ years of experience and been living in Germany as a Russian immigrant for 10 years.
I read Unscripted —almost entirely—on an overnight train back in 2016. Since then, I was changed forever, my mind couldn't stop itching about switching to the fastlane and how the corporate jobs are broken.
My own software developer career, even though successful, was a blessing and a course, however. It allowed me to give myself some slack, live relatively comfortably, and even spend one year in US, without progressing much either toward my business or career goals.
Long story short, since first reading Unscripted , I didn't act fully to achieve the fastlane and wasted my time mostly on drop-shipping, freelancing, and corporate ladder climbing, essentially, action faking.
All changed 3 months ago when my daughter was born. I realized that if I wouldn't put enough efforts into building a business, I wouldn't be able to protect her from the dangers of the modern world.
So here I'm in my late 30s restarting my unscripted journey, fully dedicated to build a $1M business and move back to US within the next five years. I've been creating software all my adult life, and it seems wise to keep using the tool that I'm a master of, so as a goal-achieving vehicle, I've chosen SaaS and digital products.
From this forum I hope to learn from experiences of others, find inspiration for my software, and get feedback.
