September is up, its time for October Goals.

- Talk to an attorney within the next week to determine liability protection. This will help me decide on how I wish to invest in RE.

- Talk to lenders and continue researching how to come up with money to make these RE on a shoestring budget. Determine different methods to obtain loans and financing.

-Investigate bank foreclosure investments and Bank REO's. Determine if this will be a better investment route then pre-foreclosures.

-Ultimate goal is to obtain a SFR property for resale by the end of the month.

Books to read this month:
-Making Money in Foreclosures, Andrew J. McLean
-Mortgages 101, David Reed
-The Real Estate Game, William Poorvu (need to finish this one)

Hello, I am new to the Forum. I came over from Richdad forums. I am a real estate agent (part-time), real estate investor (part-time) landlord (full-time) and federal employee (full time). I bought a 6 unit building and turned it into 8 units! I'm under contract to sell a family owned property which will bring me about $15-20K to invest in my next venture.

My goals for Oct:

-Submit LLC paper to State of Maine
-Search for 4+ unit apartment buildings in my area.
-Run numbers on 10 buildings
-Put an offer on the best building
-Read/ Listen to a book on my REI book list.

I usually play 8 tables at a time, and all shorthanded, so can often play 800 hands/hour. The hours vary. No, I'm not attempting to get supernova elite, I rarely play PokerStars these days.

You may have noticed that I wasn't around for the past few days.

I wanted to list what Sharon and I got done during this time:

Nothing.

Nothing, except for time alone w/our lovely little one, KT.

No laptops, no internet access, no phones.

Holed up in a cottage on the beach, listening to the waves.

You all know what a typical 3 days in my life looks like.

Given the bazillion things we push ourselves to do each day, this time was special. :)
