Probably the number one I am obessed about: Autonomy. Nothing worse to being chained against your will.

Now Imagine this - someone coming up to you and saying "right, I'm an awful capital allocator & I've ran out of money - hence I think its only fair that you pay more to me." You wouldn't put up with it? Neither would I. And whats happening in the UK is exactly that.


It erks me that they can just poof these rules into existance - I feel bad for all those people who have dilligently invested for fourty years just to get rammed by tax increases. I also saw somewhere that "this will mainly impact the rich" - what a load of hogwash. It will only attack the middle class.

It seems this happen in many countries, including USA. Indeed very sad development.
