Hi all,

I am in the process of building a website that generates leads for businesses. Specifically, we will provide them with a daily list of all new businesses in our State on an ongoing basis.

Just hoping for some general input on how to obtain clientele.

Besides direct mailing at random these exact companies for myself, how else would you target other companies to use this service?

I will say provide leads to few companies for FREE in the beginning. Search for ones that you think needs some leads. Give it to them. Provide value, and get testimonials.

And while you do that, establish a relationship with them and look for the pains/problems they have when it comes to lead. Pick one of those problems, create a content (ebook, blog, article) around it, for free (or in exchange for their emails)

I think that would give you enough information to know what the next step is.

That's said, how is providing the list of new businesses help them? Are you going to curate the list and only provide the names (and contacts) of relevant businesses?
