Need suggestions to improve website revenue

Hello all, I made a news site at the end of January of this year and haven't really done much to it since. I added Adsense on it and Analytics and have been checking it every few weeks or so. The website is averaging around 100 or so hits a day with some days being over 200. I checked the Adsense account and as of today it is $106.84. My question is, besides affiliate links, what other monetizing means should be added?

The website is ranked #4 for the keywords events of 2011
