Hey guys,
I wanted to get your guys take on a possible solution to a need for a specific niche in local communities.
I wanted to design a website that would allow local bars and bands to come together online. Bands would be able to create an account describing themselves, what type of music they play, etc. They would be able to upload videos and audio on their account page. Businesses would be able to register and also create an account, post gigs on their account, etc. They would then be able to view the list of registered bands and scour their profile, view their videos and listen to audio, contact the band to get a feel for them, and decide whether or not they want to book them for their upcoming events and gigs. This website would make it easier for bar and band to connect, instead of relying solely on word of mouth and the band showing up on the bar's doorstep the night of the gig. Eventually I want to scale this to the whole country, bringing bars and bands together in their specific communities. Please let me know what you think and all comments are welcome. Thank you.
