I had small-mild acne, and after researching I found out that most of the time it is a lack of vitamin d3 .
Ever notice how in the summer when you're out in the sun everyday your acne diminishes or goes away ? That's because vitamin D3 is really important for the skin.
So supplement with that. It's dirt cheap (15 euros gave me a one year supply) and effective

Thank you, this is true. In summer usually I don’t have acne.

If I expose myself to the sun daily for 15 minutes it’s the same of taking a vitamin D supplement?

Hi, so an expert in acne right here!!!.

First and most important step, DON'T TOUCH YOUR PIMPLES. And when I say this, is not only to don't explode them but to not to touch your face. (really important as the germes are not going to spread).

Second thing, you MUST to get natural Aloe vera, directly you have to take a leaf and put the juice in your face, back, etc, (wherever you have to). (how many days, times a day?¿?¿? well, it depends, but if you really need to improve faster, twice a day, morning and night.

Third, be patient, really patient. If you are like me, you probably have a tendency to get pimples very easy (I read something about genetics), BUT!!!, genetics helps, but guess what, Habits are the more important key. For me at least jeje,

Four, Wash your skin vere gently, try to avoid anything that has oil in the formula.

Hope you improve your skin, let me know!

Well, here comes the fifth:

-
Try to eat less fat, as it is going your skin to produce more sebum. Have you considered a vegetarian or a vegan diet? I'm a vegan 5 years ago, and it really helped me, not only for this but for another questions ( health in general, ethics).

Exercise and sweat heavy

Avoid carbs, sugar and alcohol. Eat meat, eggs, veggies
Shave your face. When I don't shave I get acne. All the dead skin just sits there. When I shave it takes off the dead skin and any skin problems usually disappear within a day or so.

To have the same effect it's more like 30-40 minutes. Get as much as you can
I still suggest buying the vitamin D for no-sun days

This may be obvious but you have tried seeing a dermatologist?

I know it's very vogue right now to scoff at medical experts, but dermatologists are skin experts. Seems like the obvious first choice.

I had perfect skin until I was about 24 and started getting horrible acne and cysts.

I went to a doctor and he prescribed antibiotics which kind of worked but not really, no way near enough.

After years of being on antibiotics and still having bad skin I finally went to a dermatologist. I wish I did it years ago.

After a month or so on 10mg a day (extremely low dose) of accutane my skin has been perfect.

No it's not natural but it worked. It also wasn't the first thing the dermatologist tried.

I'd definitely suggest going to one, it could be any number of things causing it and a dermatologist should be able to work it out and find what will work specifically for you. And if nothing works you'll get accutane which seems to work 100% of the time.

Thanks for the replies.

I will go to the dermatologist as my last option because I want to avoid medications and antibiotics.

because I want to avoid medications and antibiotics.

Well you wouldn't get antibiotics unless you have a bacterial infection - and at that point you probably SHOULD consider antibiotics, lol.

Seriously though, doctors are professionals and offer professional advice and diagnosis in addition to medication. You don't go to school for almost a decade in some cases without coming out the other side knowing a thing or two about how the body works.

If you want to solve something, you need to find the underlying cause, aka the diagnosis - and doctors are EXCELLENT first choices for this first step. Otherwise you're shooting in the dark and hoping something works.

You listen, you discuss, you get advice, and if they offer medication as one option you can research the medication and ask more questions about natural remedies. Then decide for yourself what to do. Seeing a doctor doesn't have to mean getting pills. It's about advice and diagnosis. It's the "what" part of the equation. Medication is just one possible "how". It's silly to decide on your "how" before you figure out the "what".

Example - if you have a hormonal imbalance causing acne, not touching your face isn't going to solve that. It's the wrong "how" for the wrong "what".

It's a process.

As I said, I know people like to shit on medicine right now, and there's some good reason for that given all the bad actors making it hard to trust the good ones, but if you want to solve a health problem, your first step should be diagnosis. The choice of whether to medicate or not comes AFTER diagnosis, but you can't choose the right remedy without knowing the cause.

Yes, acne is common skin care issue. Many people facing it.

First thing first, you must completely avoid Dairy. dont eat anything related to dairy.

Then, make sure u check u have digestive issues or leaky gut syndrome. Acne is not just a skin issue, it is related to your body health. Your skin shows up when u have something wrong in your body.

And, avoid completely chemical or man made weird stuffs like ProActiv skincare/Benzyl Peroxide,Sallyic acid etc. Switch to all natural skincare.

Avoid BBQ meat or anything which can cause inflammatory.

Consider taking Vitamin D3 mentioned above and Natural's Neem Supplement which can cleanse your blood/bacterial inside.

There's so many causes of acne it's hard to say what will work for you.
Personally something that helped me was using kefir. It's actually a food, similar to yogurt. You can find it at any grocery store next to the yogurts. It has a lot of probiotics in it. Generally people with acne have more bacteria on their skin, which is why dermatologists often recommend antibiotics or antibacterial washes. Instead of trying to kill the bad bacteria you can replace it with good bacteria. There's also lactic acid in kefir which helps exfoliate the dead skin. I would wash my skin every night and put kefir on it and either leave it to dry or rinse off after 10 mins or so.

When I went keto, I also had the best skin of my life, but that wasn't something I kept up.
And as others were saying, if the acne is due to something internal such as a hormone imbalance, then nothing you put on your skin is going to help much.

In my experience with western medicine, they don't care too much about finding the cause of acne, just treating the symptoms.

Good luck. I hope you find something that works for you.
