My poor ds is sick

He doesnt feel good, he is miserable, running a 102.12 temp.

My poor baby. poor me. he wont let me concentrate on anything but him.

I feel so bad when the little ones are sick. they just want love and attention. problem is it doesnt make them better. and it distracts me from doing things I need to be doing.

Just when you think you have things under control and get into a groove. a kid gets sick or hurt and you get knocked out of the groove.

Hopefully he gets better soon and I can get some work done!

reading small threads isnt very time consuming. reading a book and absorbing it is time consuming and I get interrupted. being in mid trade and having the boy be sick is distracting. trading isnt something thats good to be distracted from.

once I get into something and get distracted its difficult to get back in. so I use the time to do smaller stuff. I leave the important stuff I need to concentrate on for when the kids are in school or in bed.

awe my poor baby's fever is 103.2 now.

he doesnt appear to have anything wrong with him. just the fever and he is miserable.

hes asleep now. just dosed him with tylenol on top of the advil he already got.

I hope it doesnt go up much more or we will be on our way to the er soon. the temps always seem to go higher at night.

I was wondering what DS was as well....wow, that is high though...

just talked to his doctors office.

they said its recommended to take them only when their temp goes above 104. unless they are lethargic or get a rash or if he starts crying in pain.

it has come down a tiny bit to 102.90 with the advil. I just have to keep an eye on him.

I was all freaked out becuase last week on wednesday he got 5 immunizations. I called in just to give thm a heads up and find out what they thought about it, since its only been 10days from his shots.

I cant belive that they want me to wait untill he hits 104 tho. I thought you are like dead or brain damaged at 105. she said little ones can handle a higher temp then an adult can tho.

I hope he gets better soon.

he is feeling better today! he still has a tiny fever but nothing like yesterday. he is back to running around driving me bananas as usual.

I think its time to divert his attention to some arts and crafts for a few hours lol.
