Hi Fastlaners!
Who am I?
I'm 18 years old from the U.S. and currently going to a community college.
How did I find this community?
Someone told me about Bold and Determined and that site suggested TMF .
I thought I could be rich, but I thought I was going to be a millionaire by the time I was 40 or 50.
Then I read TMF.
Now, my hesitant goal, is to be a millionaire by the time I am 24.
Incoming the inevitable reply: "Goal should be to affect 1 million lives." That is still a mental shift I have to work on.
What have I done?
Well, I had a job as an IT tech at a University near me, but it was soul crushing. Coworkers talking about how they wanted more, but would drink just about every weekend and talk about video games.
I hated it.
So I quit that job, turned out to be a nasty event b/c the boss took it very personally.
Then I went to the Millionaire Business School in London. I was literally shaking in the hotel b/c I was out of my comfort zone, being in a foreign country on my own. But it was great. It was about working on and not in your business. Talked about outsourcing. Had a nice mix of gratitude/spiritual stuff too. Explained the physics of how your thoughts effect your environment.
I came home all pumped up and did....nothing. Which is exactly the kind of thing I was warned about when I went there
. Talk about action faking....
Then I continued to browse the forums and was thinking about copy writing. I read Cashvertizing. MJ held a copy writing contest so I decided to enter it (https://www.thefastlaneforum.com/community/threads/100-copywriting-contest.66929/). I didn't win it, but I wasn't expecting to. That thread at least got me to take some F*cking action.

I went to a job fair at my community college because I need to start making money soon.
None of those jobs looked appealing. It could be argued "well your young with no degree take what you can get and stop whining." Ya well, even the jobs that required a degree...eh. I am very put off working for someone else after that last job. If I have to, of course I'll get one.
So it was after that job fair, I decided if I really don't want to repeat my last job experience, I best start really copy writing.

I've offered to do some work on free on fiverr. No replies yet. I am going to update my copy on my profile and keep going I guess. I read on the fiverr forums that mostly people regret not having a username relevant to their service. So I made a new account with a name relevant to copy writing. Going to have to re-apply to those gigs.
My fiverr: https://www.fiverr.com/copywritekin...s?funnel=21119482-3779-4f7c-a20a-9364b61ea88b
Actionable Steps:
Update copy on fiverr
Apply to Gigs
Create an Upwork account
Do Upwork English Test
Need a pic of me instead of a fountain pen
Finals are right around the corner so need to deal with those.
I'm more than willing to do some free copy for you guys on the forum.
Thanks for reading!
EDIT: Sorry if it appears choppy! But I just wanted to move this along on my trello board.

"INSANE QUALITY OF PEOPLE"
"The number of high quality people I've met from this forum has been insane. All of it predicated on building real value."— User Richard Peck
"You are the average of the five people you surround yourself with."
