Since reading unscripted , I have been actively looking for problems to solve. I have found a few, but I can usually find that someone has solved it with a quick search. On my last search I found the same thing, its been invented, its been patented and there would be no way to improve. This time however, it appears as though the owner has given up on it, its not for sale anywhere. There is a one page website, which just says its not available anymore and to email for licensing inquiries. So I sent the email, I also tracked down who owns the patent. It looks like he is a fairly successful entrepreneur, with quite a few things to his name. I found him on linkedin, and I will eventually get a hold of him. My question is, once I get a hold of him, what am I looking for? I feel like a licensing agreement would violate control, as he would have all of it. Should I try to buy the company and the patent? If so what is a patent and company with no sales worth? If he would even consider it, that is. Any input would be helpful. Thanks
