My friend and I want to start a startup..

Hello,

My best friend is the number 4 salesman in the country for one of the big Internet/TV companies. So he has the one million dollar mouth.

I have technical skills, able to build a shiny, professional website and keep track of online business.

If we work together, I feel like we can have a pretty good business.

What are some good ideas for a startup we can work on? It should involve the use of his selling skills and my computer skills.

If you want a good startup idea, you have to grind the creative muscles. It depends what you want to do, there are almost like classifications. Large scale, middle, smaller, lifestyle design etc. It depends on the problem your solving, hopefully you don't make one up and you actually solve one.

Take the time to figure out what people need desperately solved, and solve it. Everything else you can figure out with time put in. Good luck.

Become a sales agent or small business consultant. Contact companies and get the contract. Take commission. If you do it for 4 companies initially, it might work the best for you and your friend.
