My first crack at e-commerce. Action taker, no action faker here.

Hey guys/girls,

I'm a little new to the forum but have been lurking around for the last few months and would love to share my progress in achieving fastlane status here.

I've finally found a great product after tons of searching and research. I believe it brings great value for the consumer and is not currently saturated in the current market.

I will be selling this online (e-commerce site and amazon).

I've already got my sample which I've tested thoroughly and put in a small starting order to test the market.

I've already started the steps of registering an LLC for this new venture and anticipate to start selling in the next 1-2 weeks.

I do have one problem that I haven't been able to completely solve, and would love the opinion from everyone - esp the e-commerce gurus.

I purchased a great domain that is simple, and explains my product to a "T", and I also have a plan to brand this product at the same time and have purchased a domain for the creation of the brand name. My plan is to use the generic domain name which explains my product and re-direct it to the other domain which will become the brand of the company.

Another option is to sell them on both domains but then, the generic domain name won't have a "brand" since it's just simple common words that greatly describe the product itself.

Is my first approach the best, as it can generate traffic from the re-direction to the branded product name if SEO is done properly? Any help and input is appreciated!
