I keep seeing phrases such as
"slowlane job"
"fastlane business"
This is INCORRECT
A job/business does NOT determine which lane you are in
You can be a sidewalker and have a business
You can have a job and be in the fastlane
You can have a business & be a slow laner
What really determines what lane you are in is what you do with your money
A fast laner reinvest heavily into his business - taking out only enough to get by
A slow laner invest in mutual funds, CD's, blue chip stocks and hopes that his money will be there when he wants to retire
A side walker has NO concern for his money and just waste it (cars, girls, drugs, food, entertainment, 800 dollar phones, vacations every month, etc)
I had a friend who had a graphics company doing 10k a month, but all the money he profited he would spend on bottle service at the club, cars, etc. Few months later he was back to living with his mom.
There is NOTHING wrong with picking up a job to fund your fastlane in the early stages
